About Isaiada Derricks

I am currently a student at Central Piedmont Community College with the goal of obtaining a certificate in Cyber Security. I’m learning about network configurations and troubleshooting, securing a network, and PC components. I have a strong background in retail, health, beauty, and sales that taught me skills such as customer relations, working with a team, setting and achieving productivity goals, and critical thinking skills which will transition well into the Cyber Security field. I’m currently enrolled in a workforce program called YearUp, which is designed to close the opportunity divide and give people like me a chance in a growing and emerging career field. It teaches career-readiness skills along with a 6 month hands on internship at a Fortune 500 company. I’m excited to meet new people and network! Feel free to connect with me.
