I work for Deloitte Tax Service India Private Limited (Offices of the US) and support Deloitte Australia. I hold 13 plus years of experience in Australian tax and accounts field where I work for Australian private businesses and high net worth individuals. My main role includes preparation/review of financial statements for various Australian businesses and tax returns for Australian entities. In addition, I manage clients' portfolio from start to end, such as draft engagement letters, bills, client queries along with final review of financial statements, tax returns and cover letters. My operational experience includes managing teams, working with partners and senior managers to run day-to-day business operations. I work as a cluster lead for Australian offices, collaborate with stake holders in Australia/USI to grow business, strengthen relationship between both the offices. I hold post graduate degree in Finance and Accounting (MBA), and graduate degree (B.com) in commerce. Additionally, I have completed Charter Tax Advisor 2A (CTA) certification course from the Tax Institute of Australia (TIA). I was given exemption for CTA 1 level by TIA based on my experience in Australian tax and knowledge obtained through trainings conducted by Deloitte. I had the opportunity to travel to Australia three times on Deloitte sponsor business visa, including a 3-month secondment, where I experienced how Australian businesses operate, its culture, and work style.
