About Ish Maini

Ish is an interdisciplinary researcher, legal consultant and academic who believes in the adage,"Be part of the change you wish to see". He has been involved in several leadership and capacity building roles and believes in enabling change for the better, in an inclusive and considerate manner. He'd like to associate with idealism and hopes his generation will leave the Earth a better place. PS: Work which he's proud about but not on CV - PGT and GULS Student Representative for LL.M (2021-22) School of Law, University of Glasgow - Was a core member of https://verifiedcovidleads.com/, an Ad-hoc website created by web designers Shristi Sahu, Yogesh Arora and Sidhant Nahta during the 2nd wave of the Covid-19 pandemic which hit India unprepared.(April - May 2021).The website was disseminating information to 4.5 million people- Part of the first elected student representative of Jindal Global University’s Internal Complaint’s Committee (COGSASH)(2018-2019). I also received a certificate of special mention for “Contribution to Gender Sensitization and Prevention of Sexual Harassment”, for my efforts within my role, the first of it's kind ever given- Elected Batch Representative for 2019-2020; responsible for staff-student liaison, organization of various student events and overseeing the welfare of the 2015 batch- Was elected as Class Representative of B.A LL.B Section E (2015-2020) for 5 consecutive years. Always an honor I will cherish- Appointed the president of the Film society of JGU for 3 consecutive years (2017-20). I also received a certificate for “Contribution to Learning through Films and Movies”, which was the first of it's kind to be bestowed- Appointed the President (2014-15) & Discipline Advisor (2012-2013), Sports Advisor (2013-2014) of K.R. Mangalam World School- Presided over (chaired) and participated in several ‘Model United Nations’, been an active debater and public speaker throughout University and school.
