About Isha Bhatt

As a pre-law student at UCLA, I’m driven by a deep interest in justice, advocacy, and systemic change. My academic and extracurricular experiences have centered on helping people navigate institutions, whether it's students seeking career guidance or communities underserved by existing legal frameworks. At the UCLA Career Center, I work as a Career Peer Intern, where I’ve developed strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills through resume reviews, interview prep, and peer mentorship. In 2024, I founded Career Compass, an initiative that provides students with accessible, peer-led career resources, reinforcing my commitment to equity, access, and empowerment. These experiences have deepened my interest in law as a tool for advocacy and structural impact. I’m especially drawn to areas like civil rights and public interest work - fields where I can use my voice to elevate others and challenge systemic barriers. I’m always looking to connect with professionals, mentors, and fellow students passionate about law, policy, and social justice!
