About Ishaan Raina

I am a second-year student at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, majoring in finance and a minor in computer science. I have a passion for finance and I’m interested in pursuing a job in restructuring and distressed financing. I have strengths in quantitative and technical skills which I’ve proved in my internship with FoneTrip. I also have experience working with customers in the food industry and retail industry with my work at SuperDry and Culver's which I use to help me better connect and communicate with people. Being part of the Kelley School of Business has been an incredible experience, providing me with a robust foundation in business principles and a unique opportunity to learn the knowledge I need to pursue my career by joining various clubs and classes. As a member of the restructuring and distressed financing club, I can learn the fundamental skills of restructuring which I will need to succeed in my career. Additionally, through my work at FoneTrip I've been equipped with the experience to succeed professionally. I've also learned how to present and do research which will enable me to succeed in an internship. As I navigate my academic journey, I am committed to supplementing my classroom learning with practical experiences and internships to ensure a holistic understanding of the finance industry. I am working toward networking opportunities, mentorship, and discussions about the exciting prospects that lie ahead. I'm excited on pursuing a career in restructuring and distressed financing and learning the various skills to get into this industry.
