About Ishan Rayen

As a Physics Supplemental Instructor at Macalester College, I supported students taking introductory physics classes. I also pursued a bachelor's degree in Physics and Economics, combining my passion for science and finance. My core competencies included teaching, problem-solving, and organizational skills, which I developed through my academic and professional experiences. As an IT intern at Lazard, I gained valuable exposure to the technology and security aspects of the finance industry. I organized a company-wide phishing campaign, implemented security alerts, and suggested a new approach to problem alertness. I worked with the Global Infrastructure and Cloud Solutions team to learn and apply data reporting skills. I am motivated by the opportunity to leverage my skills and knowledge to contribute to the innovation and efficiency of the organization. I also bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I speak Bengali, Spanish, and Hindi, and have won multiple awards for my academic and creative achievements.
