In my role as a Threat Analyst, the key aspect I work on is the investigation of high-risk alerts from the MDR platform, the allocation, management, and assessment of cases, and the process that identifies false positives or the activity of a competitor or hacker that represents a significant threat. For this purpose, a thorough analysis is required to ensure accurate responses and effective threat management. My work also includes incident response (IR) operations in which I am the one to actively react to threats that may otherwise harm the entire company by causing cyber attacks and the presence of malicious actors. Moreover, I lead the incident response efforts and manage the related documentation, for instance, I prepare in-depth reports to the customers explaining the incidents and our actions. Additionally, I conduct proactive threat hunts and manage customer communication to keep them informed about progress and mitigation strategies, ensuring they are aware of potential issues and how to address them.
