About Ishika Rathi

I recently graduated magna cum laude from UCSD with a double major in Cognitive Science - Neuroscience and Literature/Writing. Through my academic experience at UCSD, I have become fascinated by the way our brain approaches written, verbal, and nonverbal communication. I hope to use my experience to connect science with people, human behavior, and organization success. I’m looking for roles in Neuroscience/Psychology research and Science Communication, as I’m passionate about shaping positive experiences and connecting innovative scientific research to the community. Through my roles as an Orientation Intern, Marketing Director, and Instructional Assistant, I have acquired experience in group facilitation, various forms of communication and writing, and project execution. Ultimately, I look forward to gaining experience in the corporate or research world to see how the science of thought connects to the art of communication.
