About Islay Woolgar

Throughout my diverse work experiences/internships and educational journey, I have developed a passion for marketing and the creative processes that drive brand success. My work experience at Ettinger, a luxury British leather goods company, was a pivotal moment where I gained hands-on experience in digital marketing, creating engaging social media content and managing campaigns. This experience sparked my curiosity about how businesses craft their brand identity and communicate with their audience, something which I have further learnt about whilst studying marketing at Newcastle University. Even in roles outside traditional marketing, such as working at Utilita Arena or nannying, I’ve developed organisational, customer service and time management skills that are essential in crafting successful marketing strategies. These experiences, along with my internship at Joro Experiences have fuelled my desire to continue learning and growing in the marketing industry.
