About Israel Salgado

My years of experience work have lead me down multiple avenues of work starting with my time assisting at a law firm making copies, managing the computers and running errands for the lawyer that owned the practice. My ability to fluently speak Spanish also allowed me to communicate with clients who primarily only spoke Spanish so translating from time to time also became a large part of my responsibilities in the office. Following my time at the law firm, I became a busser and rose through the ranks to become a server trainer before leaving to pursue a higher education. As a busser and server, I learned to work at a fast pace while multitasking. I also became accustomed to serving a diversity of clientele furthering my ability to handle the most difficult of clients and maintain my cool so that I could continue providing exemplary services to all my other clients. I am have also worked as a Behavior Specialist at Esperanza Therapy Services where I have gained experience teaching and assisting in the development of children with autism. Currently I am working at the Boys and Girls Club of Monterey County, Seaside Clubhouse as an Impact Lead I in charge of their College and Career Readiness program as well as part of the literacy team running the locations Read Naturally program.
