About Issa Azzam

With over five years of experience in program management and policy advisory roles, I am passionate about improving the health, safety, and wellbeing of workers and communities. As the Program Manager at Magentus, a leading provider of digital health solutions, I oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of quality and safety programs for various clients and stakeholders. I leverage my skills in data analysis, team leadership, and teamwork to deliver effective and innovative outcomes that meet the needs and expectations of the users and the regulators. I also hold a Lead Auditor credential from Exemplar Global, which enables me to conduct audits and assessments of the quality, occupational health and safety, and management systems of Magentus and its partners. Prior to joining Magentus, I was the Principal Policy Advisor at the Victorian Department of Health, where I advised on workforce health, safety, and wellbeing issues and initiatives, and the Program Officer at WorkSafe Victoria, where I managed projects on worker wellbeing, fatigue risk management, and work-related violence and aggression. I have a Masters of International Public Health from the University of Sydney, and a background in psychology from Deakin University. My mission is to use my expertise and experience to enhance the quality of programs in technology and healthcare and deliver products that ultimately improve people’s lives.
