About Issa Reda

As an experienced Mathematics teacher, I bring a wealth of experience in Lebanese and international curricula, including American and British systems. My dedication to interactive lesson planning and exam preparation has consistently elevated academic outcomes, making me a pivotal figure in nurturing student success across diverse educational landscapes. Throughout my journey as a teacher, I have sharpened my skills in the following areas: • Smart Board Interactive Displays • Student Assessment & Evaluation • Behavioral Management • Mathematical Modeling • Scaffolding Instruction • Standard Exam Preparation At Gökkuşağı School, I worked on improving student engagement and understanding in mathematics for grades 9 and 10. My strategic approach to IGCSE and AS-Level exam preparation has led to a high percentage of my students surpassing average scores. My commitment to differentiated scaffolding has resulted in students showing measurable progress exceeding expectations. I have also worked at Al Fayez International School where I relentlessly worked on improving students’ outcomes in Algebra, Geometry, and Pre-calculus. My proactive behavior management strategies reduced disciplinary incidents, transforming the classroom environment into a friendly and risk-free environment where every student is accountable for his behavior, and every student is appreciated. I started my educational journey in Lebanon where I worked as a Middle & Highschool Math Teacher at Frères Saint Joseph School in Beirut and at Ataya International High School. I always tried to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs, enhancing learning for middle school students and conducting evaluative functions to identify and address areas of weakness. As for my education, I have a strong foundation in mathematics and pedagogy. In June 2018, I successfully completed a Teaching Diploma in Teaching Mathematics for Highschool Students at the Arts Sciences and Technology University in Beirut. This has equipped me with the skills to effectively educate the next generation of mathematicians. Prior to this, I earned my BS in Pure Mathematics from the Lebanese University in June 2016. I am always eager to expand my professional network and engage with fellow educators.
