After being a member of Edwards LifeSciences over the last sixteen years, and working to develop the most advanced and revolutionary TAVI devices,I have decided to switch gears and help creating the next revolution in another medical device field, The new challenge is to develop a novel bio-prosthesis Pancreas. Working at Beta O2 Technologies, my current goal is to drive our product to become the leading solution for transplanting islets of Langerhans for type 1 diabetic patients with various tissue sources - human, xeno and Stem Cells. In this project, I will take advantage of my background in biodegradable and medical polymers, coating and textile, developing medical products and strong understanding in up-scaling procedures as well as my managerial capabilities.
