At some point in your life, the urge to take the leap and do what you have always wanted to do will stare you straight in the face. And sometimes you may not realize this inner feelings/passion in you till the moment arrives. I left my position as a recruiter to pursue my passion in travel and tourism industry. Together with my business partner Simon Werren from Switzerland, we formed Bike and Tours – a tour company that invites city-weary travelers to discover the scenic sights and natural treasures of Borneo in East Sabah the eco friendly way! Moving from the corporate to entrepreneur world has seen me demonstrating my experience and skills towards areas of sales, marketing, business development, customer service, travel writing and dealing with governmental bodies. About Bike and Tours: Bike and Tours is a Swiss tour company that was built in May 2012. The company focuses on the concept of cycling and eco outdoor adventure in Borneo Sabah. It is run by Swiss owner Simon Werren and his local Malaysian business partner - Me. The customers of Bike and Tours’ would be given the opportunity to appreciate the wildlife and be close to nature via cycling, river cruising, trekking the rainforests, swimming in the river and/or snorkeling/diving at one of the gorgeous spots in East Sabah. About the Founders: Simon Werren (from Sarnen Switzerland) and Itisha Ismail (from Kuala Lumpur) both resigned from their career in the hospitality and recruitment industries respectively to pursue of their dreams to start a travel and tour company. They both visited Sabah in 2010 and were definitely fascinated by the charms of "The Land Below the Wind". Two years later after much research, the idea of Bike and Tours was conceptualized.
