About Iulia Vass

As a lawyer specialised in public procurement, concessions and during the past 15 years I have advised a wide range of private investors and public bodies in all phases of the tendering process and project implementation. I have helped come to life public procurement projects that span from smaller contracts to billion Euro projects, for the entire spectrum of domestic and international bidders, from SMEs or NGOs to FORTUNE 500 companies, as well as various public entities, state-owned companies, international or trade organizations. My focus on public procurement and comes from the drive to work on meaningful projects with a great impact on the country’s development, such as infrastructure, healthcare or education. I believe that good procurement can bring great value for money and that all economic operators should have a fair chance to win a public contract. I also enjoy the constant challenge to provide strategic advice, pragmatic and innovative solutions, while navigating the labyrinth of a complex and ever changing set of procurement national and EU rules and all essential related practices (dispute resolution, public law, competition, contracts or EU funds).
