About Iva Horejsi

Passionate Educator | Alumni Engagement Specialist | Student Mentor I am a dedicated professional with over a decade of experience within the UWC movement, combining my expertise in student mentorship, alumni engagement, and residential life with a deep commitment to UWC’s mission of fostering education for peace and sustainability. My career at UWC Maastricht has allowed me to excel in roles that bridge student-focused support with outward-facing collaboration, making meaningful connections with alumni, external partners, and donors. Key highlights of my career include: Building and managing robust alumni networks through initiatives like the Outroduction program and Alumni in Residence program, fostering a culture of giving back. Supporting students in translating their education into real-world impact by overseeing the Student Initiative Fund, guiding Project Week for 100+ participants annually, and assisting with applications for UWC-wide GoMAD funding. Balancing administrative excellence, such as overseeing donor reporting for 100+ scholarship students, with student mentorship and leadership development in residential settings. I am also certified in Emergency Response and Mental Health First Aid, ensuring that I prioritize safety and well-being in every aspect of my work. Whether mentoring students, connecting alumni, or managing complex processes, I thrive in dynamic, multicultural environments and bring a proactive, mission-driven approach to every opportunity. I’m excited to connect with like-minded professionals and organizations passionate about education, sustainability, and community-building. Let’s collaborate to make a positive impact!
