A former Minerals Chartered Surveyor (FRICS, MIQ), specialising in land acquisition, EIA and planning projects including quarry, landfill, rail, recycling and composting developments. with a 100% planning approval success over 15 years, I left the industry to join the family chemical manufacturing business in 2005. Embracing an interest in environmental management, I have encouraged the development of innovative and sustainably packaged, highly concentrated, products, contributing to the reduction of movement and use of majority water-based cleaning products. Keen to promote "green chemistry in green packaging", underpinned by an unequivocal desire to improve our ESG profile. Demonstrated history of working in the chemical industry, supported by a long-established dedicated workforce, partnering a broad spectrum of customers from blue chip companies (Mercedes-Benz, Rowenta, Portakabin, Lakeland, Argos, TK Maxx, Thane Direct, National Veterinary Supplies, Bentley Motors) to individual sole traders. Quality and customer service, engendering a family culture in the workplace, investing in youth, and contributing to local community causes are my core business values. I am proud that we still supply customers today that we were selling to back in the 1970s. Proud to have taken on our family business to another level - to have navigated the generational transition, restructure the business, delivered B2B growth alongside growing an eCommerce business from scratch, all against the back drop of Covid-19 & Brexit.
