About Ivan Bormann

My different working experience, apparently different in goals and sectors, have a common line of development. I have always been indeed interested in the use of visual media to reppresent social issues and influence and promote social change and empowerment, so i passed through different and intense experiences, that go from the youth centres in Trieste, to the mountains of Chiapas, to National Broadcast Rai in Rome, to the independent production of my own documentaries. All this, through the different role once of social worker, the other as video maker and film maker, other times as a teacher or journalist. Specialties: I like writing and filming peculiar social backgrounds, interacting with the civic society living the territories. I have good skills in thinking, writing projects, fund raising, overview production issues and activate social actions.
