About Ivan Cubillo

With over 18 years of experience as a chef and a dietitian-nutritionist, I am passionate about food, nutrition, and gastronomy, and how they can improve people's health and well-being. I have a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition from King's College London, and multiple certifications in food technology, child nutrition, and menu design for collective catering. As an asesor gastronómico, I advise hospitality businesses on how to adopt healthier and more sustainable gastronomic offerings, train their employees, and develop new products and processes. I also conduct cooking workshops and talks on healthy and sustainable eating. As the presenter and director of La Gastroteca, a radio show about food, nutrition, and gastronomy, I create and coordinate content, manage a team, and implement marketing and social media strategies. As a professor of cooking and nutrition, I have participated in projects of social inclusion and personal development, teaching courses on Mediterranean diet, child nutrition, and cooking for disadvantaged groups. As a co-founder of a food company, I was involved in product development, quality control, and customer service.
