About Ivan Duka

One of my earliest memories of being fascinated by how things worked was when I was a kid and stumbled upon my grandpa's drawer full of broken watches. I couldn't resist taking them apart to see the gears in action, much to my grandfather’s dismay.In my teenage years, my curiosity shifted towards computers. I quickly became familiar with the smell of burnt electrical circuits as I tried to adjust CPU voltages in BIOS to make my computer faster.The next step in my evolution with all things mechanical fascination was also motivated by personal fitness and competitive nature. After restoring an old Schwinn road bicycle in my parent's garage, I delved into bike racing soon after. That led me to work as a bike mechanic during my college years and participate in many races.Nowadays, my work revolves around ensuring that the tools used in semiconductor manufacturing operate flawlessly. Yet, my passion for mechanics extends beyond the workplace. During my downtime I work on restoring cars and motorcycles. I still tinker with computer hardware and software. In short, I still love figuring out how things work and I'm always excited to learn and grow.
