I am a highly motivated and enthusiastic scientist currently working on identifying and validating targets utilizing zebrafish models of cardiometabolic disease. I have a deep passion for learning and gaining expertise in disease pathophysiology, as well as genetic, molecular, and biochemical techniques. I have also developed great interest in the data science and bioinformatics field. I am a chemist and pharmaceutical scientist by training with experience in biochemistry, molecular biology, an in vivo models of genetic, autoimmune, and cardiometabolic diseases. My goal is to implement focused critical thinking and decision making to solve problems both independently and in a team setting, with the ultimate aim of translating science into therapies for patients.
