About Ivan Hrga

Ever since I was a kid I have always wanted to hit the high seas. Truth to be told I never had even a close idea how crazy do you have to be to want that :) But the admiration towards those brave and a bit crazy seafarers was always pushing me forward to become one of them. After finishing my High school the next step was obviously to board a vessel and from that moment I have worked myself up to the position of 2nd Officer.I have working experience in all different kinds of jobs including ones as Safety Officer, Navigational Officer, GMDSS Officer, cargo loading and vessel ballasting, etc. I am able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. I am extremely conscientious in everything I do and I always make sure that jobs are done completely and correctly with no oversights. I have been in leadership positions many times but I am also able to take and fulfill orders given by others. In order to be great at something, you must have a passion for it. This love of what I do allows me to maintain a positive attitude no matter the circumstance.I love to set my goals high and I don't rest until I reach them. Goals for 2019 and 1st part of 2020 are to complete my Maritime studies college and get a Chief Officer's license.
