Ivan Ilchev is an experienced CEO with a long history of helping health product companies scale their businesses, transform manufacturing capabilities, and achieve successful exits. His success is rooted in his ability to quickly build companies, accelerate performance, and sustain YOY revenue/earnings gains. Ivan is President & CEO of ION Nutritional Labs, a growing contract manufacturer of dietary supplements and pet products, where he was instrumental in the sale of the company to DCC (FTSE 100: DCCPF) and has since elevated the company through automation, expansion into new product lines (e.g. gummies), and delivery of cost-saving efficiencies. Prior to this, Ivan served as COO, VP of Operations, and Director of Operations for ION – and during that time – substantially grew revenue, team size, manufacturing capacity, and product offerings. Earlier in Ivan’s career, he led multi-plant operations for Geo Pharma and fueled growth across both dietary supplement and pharmaceutical business lines. While with Geo Pharma, he built a maintenance/engineering function from scratch, stood up a new antibiotic facility, and led a large organization. Ivan is a strong leader who builds high performing teams, works effectively with boards, and guides organizations through significant growth/change.
