About Ivan Ivko

I’m an IT specialist with wide expertise and more than 18 years of experience. Worked with windows administration, networking, in software development, integration and support area, with SQL databases and as full stack web developer. Now I’m working on making my old dream come true – becoming a professional game developer (with aim to specialize in VR development in future). I’ve finished a lot of Unity learning tracks and I worked as indie unity developer, creating my own projects. I constantly improve my coding and game developer skills as by learning theory (like game patterns, SOLID principles and other best coding practices), and also by implementing this knowledge in my work. And now I've started next stage of this journey - I've became a part of Nordcurrent team and I'm going to grow and apply my skills here. Previous technical background includes following set of skills: Networking (including wi-fi and firewalls) equipment configuration and support (Cisco, Extreme Networks, Huawei, Nortel, D-Link etc.), managing and administration of MS SQL databases, Windows administration (including virtualization with Hyper-V), integration and support of complex software-hardware complexes (including networking equipment, servers, VPN, databases (MS SQL + IBM DB2), cryptography and proprietary (developed by company itself, not having much documentation, with need to work a lot with developers themselves) software, based on C#/.Net), organizing of work of integration and support team, creating technical documentation, analyze for the development.
