About Ivan Lanzoni

As a generalist, what does my role entail? I usually dive into the initial phases of projects, focusing on design strategy. Occasionally, I see it through to the final stages, but that's not the norm for me. I find the classic distinction between problem setting and problem solving useful when highlighting the difference between generalists and specialists. If you were to place these aspects on a spectrum, I lean more towards the problem-setting side, determining what steps we should take next. I'm open-minded and absorb tangential knowledge and skills along the way but if i have to choose a passion it would be vfx and post production. Typically, what you can expect from me in my role is the knack for seamlessly shifting perspectives - from an ecosystem and vision standpoint, navigating through user flows, down to the nitty-gritty of detailed design. I understand how each decision I make ripples down, influencing the subsequent levels.
