I am currently the Deputy Secretary for Sustainable Development Finance at the Secretariat for International Affairs (SAIN) of the Ministry of Finance of Brazil, where I am responsible for leading the agenda of Brazil with the World Bank Group (including as IDA Deputy), NDB, AIIB, IFAD, GCF, CIFs and the GEF, mobilizing resources for sustainable development projects. I also lead our agenda at the International Financial Architecture Working Group (on MDBs), at the Sustainable Finance Working Group, and at the Task Force for Global Mobilization against Climate Change of the G20. Summary- Long and successful career in the Brazilian government, having assumed leading roles in different ministries, academia, public companies, international institutions, climate funds, and multilateral development banks- Strong academic background on Economics, Management and Finance- Exceptional managerial experience, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills with high resilience and drive in achieving objectives and goals- Strong solutions-driven analytical skills and business sense, and eager to learn and innovate- Relevant international experience and in a multi-cultural work environment fostering a climate of teamwork and collaboration.
