I’ve always wondered how things work, now here I am, a Chemical Engineering student, half a year away from completing my studies at Monash University. So far in my studies, I’ve had the opportunity to work on super interesting projects. The design of an end of life tyre pyrolysis plant was really cool, especially as a future prospect for the recycling industry. I also took part in a research project, in an interdisciplinary team, regarding the performance of bioretention systems, this was enlightening since there’s limited knowledge of how they work in the field. Currently, I’m gaining a wealth of knowledge in wastewater treatment as a service technician at Aerofloat, Working closely with plastic contaminated wastewater. I'm excited to learn from industry leaders and professionals in chemical engineering to foster my personal and professional growth as an engineer.
