About Ivan Savov

As the Chairman of the European Risk Policy Institute (ERPI) and the Future Risk Institute (FRI), I have more than eight years of experience in promoting and encouraging greater focus on risk policy in leadership, decision-making and management across all sectors in Europe and globally. Risk policy is the driver and pinnacle of risk management and must be clearly articulated by Boards and Executive Committees to ensure integrated risk management is optimised - for best-practice performance and sound corporate governance. My core competencies include strategic leadership, standardization, accreditation, audit and certification, risk policy, and risk management. I lead and oversee the vision, mission, strategy, and operations of both ERPI and FRI, as well as their collaboration with the Global Risk Policy Network, led by the Australian Risk Policy Institute. I also leverage my expertise in data privacy, GDPR, and information security in a confidential government council cybersecurity certification project since March 2020. I am passionate about advancing the field of risk policy and fostering a culture of innovation, sustainability, and resilience.
