An Electronics Technician in the Royal Australian Navy with more than 14 years of extensive technical analysis and problem-solving skills. I am a strong leader, mentor and communicator which allows me to be a reliable, efficient and skilled technical professional. Completed a diploma in Electronics and Communications Engineering and currently attaining a Bachelors in; Electronics Engineering through Macquarie University. Conducted a role as a Technical Advisor at Directorate of Navy Engineering in February 2022 to December 2023 Responsible for providing specialised combat system technical advice and data analysis for future Navy projects. Previously posted to HMAS Canberra (2021-2022) as the Combat System Supervisor the main responsibility of this role was managing the combat system section onboard Canberra. Key components to this role are maintenance planning, management and training of junior personnel, provide supervision on tasks and providing technical advice. Prior to that, a reliable and enthusiastic Electronics Technician on HMA Ships Tobruk, Manoora, Ballarat, Success and Adelaide in a variety of roles. I was responsible for; a number of different RADAR systems, Navigation systems, Electronic Surveillance Systems, Combat Management Systems, Nulka and Active Missile Defence systems. In addition to my technical roles, I also filled a position as a leadership instructor at the RAN’s Leadership and Management Development Centre. Teaching leadership and management skills to the RAN’s up and coming leaders.
