About Ivan Smolik

During last 20 years, I have worked in international worldwide company; I was a Technical Marketing Manager (member of Region Eastern Europe Marketing team, total turnover above €200 MM). My responsibility was to devise and implement REE technical strategy via managing R&D plans, product launches, implementing saving projects (packaging, raw materials, process, waste, working capital), ensuring all product comply with relevant legislation, managing cross country projects minimizing risk to business profitability and act as “Sustainability Manager”. Overall scale of operation was serving more than 10 different brands on Czech, Slovak, Polish, Hungarian and Romanian markets. In regional position I was working very closely with other functions (supply & purchase) having deep understanding of their impact on business. My previous working foreign experience is linked to Project Management and Sales & Marketing functions in international company. I can offer extensive knowledge of gas, chemicals and building industry across REE (manufacturing and supply chain of building materials, chemicas and paints) especially from area of Eastern Europe.
