Senior Data Engineer and Technical Lead with 7+ years of experience building scalable systems across backend and data platforms. I started my career in backend development (NestJS, TypeScript, AWS), then transitioned into data engineering where I now lead cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, cost-effective, and well-architected solutions. Over the past few years, I’ve focused on designing and modernizing data pipelines (ETL to ELT), managing large-scale Spark/EMR workloads, optimizing Snowflake environments using CDKTF(IaC), and deploying Airflow orchestration pipelines with ECS and Jenkins. I’m deeply invested in DevOps practices and have driven improvements like devcontainer-based local setups, CODEOWNERS adoption, and GitHub team structure cleanups across the org. Beyond tech, I’ve also served as a Product Owner in a SAFe Agile environment—handling PI planning, epic/story decomposition, and stakeholder alignment. I currently lead a team of data engineers and scientists, support analysts, and collaborate across teams through our Architecture Council and cross-org initiatives. My passion lies in building robust platforms, enabling teams, and scaling impact through both technical and organizational improvements.
