Due to the further expansion of our central warehouse in Belgium and our new production unit in Poland, we have implemented the past years SAP ERP in combination with Dynaman as WMS, which allows us to fully control all operations including the existing automated miniload warehouse and the brand new automatic pallet warehouse m²) which offers space for pallets. In addition, also a new website and e-Shop were linked to SAP ERP. pgb-Europe, pgb-France and pgb-Asia switched over on 01/2018. The go live at pgb-Polska will follow soon. The first years of my position within the pgb-Group I provided the needed structure in hardware and software, which included the introduction of Windows Server 2012, SharePoint, Hyper-V and Citrix XenApp. Conserving the ISO 9001 certificate and constantly looking for cost reductions were also key concerns. Next to these, I still maintain the tailor-made ERP package which runs in RPG on IBM Power 7+(AS/400), currently still used by pgb-Polska. The years before I rolled out shared services across Europe for a 60m€ business, dealing with different cultures and laws and supervising the external consultants, with regular visits abroad. I aligned the used software, set out procedures and policies, strengthened the security and revised the hardware procurement for cost reduction.
