Experienced coach, researcher and senior academic leader with a successful track record in academia, health research, and fast-paced consultancy companies. Key areas of expertise: Executive, career development and leadership coaching & mentoring Research & Consultancy Health research / research integrity / research ethics Project & operations management As a professional coach and mentor, I have supported research leaders at all career stages from many universities including Oxford, Manchester, King’s, Imperial, Newcastle, Queen Mary & York, and organisations such as NHS Leadership Academy, WHO and FAO. I set up and lead Coaching for Research Leaders, a company that supports individuals (e.g. senior researchers holding NIHR Advanced Fellowships), participants of developmental programmes (e.g. GROW Programme, https://mentalhealthresearch.org.uk/grow/) and organisations providing career development and leadership programmes. Being an experienced researcher senior manager and a professionally qualified coach allows me to truly understand the challenges, frustrations and pressures researchers and universities face. I strive to be a valuable thinking partner and create a safe confidential space that helps my clients gain clarity and come up with exciting solutions that move them forward. Aside from coaching, I have a longstanding interest in improving the quality, integrity, and usefulness of research.
