About Ivor Vuic

With a Master's degree in Geology from the University of Zagreb, my role at HIDROCIBALAE involved processing hydrographic and geophysical data, vital for offshore wind farm development. Our team utilized GIS tools and Python scripting, enhancing workflow efficiency and project success. As a Project Geologist at Dalekovod, I provided geotechnical solutions and advice for foundation construction on multiple high-voltage transmission line projects across Norway. I have hands-on experience in assessing rock and soil quality, conducting in-situ testing, and monitoring the quality of construction materials and executed work. I have successfully completed over 300 tower foundations in various geological conditions, including a challenging project in the Arctic.I also have a keen interest in renewable energy and its potential for building a sustainable future. I am proficient in data analysis and visualization, GIS software and technology, document preparation, and graphic design. I enjoy working in dynamic and diverse teams, where I can contribute to the project goals and learn from other professionals. I am passionate about geology, ecology, and design, and I seek opportunities to apply my knowledge and skills to projects that make a positive impact on the environment and society.
