About Ivos Gajdorus

I love using modern technology to solve problems and simplify people's lives. When building online solutions for local organisations or designing services for international corporations I always look for simplicity, innovativeness and meaningfulness in what I search for. Writing my first lines of code as a kid on an Atari 800, software and information technologies were always my passion and I can’t stop looking for ways to improve things in the business or the shared matrix we live in. Gaining experience and working for large companies, I have always had an entrepreneurial soul - freelancing since school and starting my first company in my early twenties after returning from backpacking around the world. I enjoy challenges and always push myself to see the bigger picture and how things fit together from a goal reaching perspective. Overcoming these challenges with a team of people that think outside of the box and are on the same motivational and enthusiastic wavelength, is what I enjoy most. In the first half of my career I gained experience from various different activities, such as: software development, project management, digital marketing & strategies, service design and business consulting. Principles I follow in business:# Do it only if you truly believe it (aka Start with Why by S. Sinek)# Spend time only on projects that make sense # Look for team members who are smarter than you # Complex problems have simple solutions # A company is as good as it behaves to its worst customer # Business domain driven design In personal life:# Inspiring others to learn and improve brings satisfaction # Life is too short to work on ephemeral things # Listen to your intuition but keep in mind that things are often different from how they appear # Be respectful to our environment and all beings # Constant education and sharing knowledge leads to a better future for humankind
