Background

About Ivy Yim

Passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences, I am an elementary educator with a strong foundation in curriculum development, differentiated instruction, and student engagement. With over four and a half years of classroom experience and a master’s degree in Elementary Education (specializing in Gifted Education), I have cultivated a deep understanding of how learners grow and how to support that growth with purposeful design. Currently pursuing a graduate certificate in Instructional Design at the University of Central Florida. I am expanding my expertise to impact learning beyond the classroom. My goal is to combine my teaching experience with evidence-based instructional design practices to create accessible, engaging, and effective learning solutions for diverse audiences. Whether designing for students or adult learners, I bring creativity, empathy, and a commitment to continuous improvement to every project. I am especially interested in digital learning, inclusive design, and leveraging technology to make learning more interactive and impactful.
