About Iwan Budihalim

My background in Informatics and Technology gives me a strong foundation in most aspects of the IT Industry, With 20 years of experience ranging from IT Service Management, IT Budgeting, Software Development, and Data Center Management. I Was start in as a Developer, develop a frontend and backend system based on web and Windows. And In 2003 I spent my year with PT Panin Dai-ichi Life, develop various systems for insurance and support systems. In 2007, I decided to take the next level as an IT Service Operations Manager. One of the challenging projects was converting from an old-traditional system to a Cloud system. Knowing that technical is worthless without good practical business, I have leaped to another challenge. In 2015 I Founded a forex trading company, and within 2 years, the company has closed a book with a profit. My experience in IT Industry, Finance company and, the business has helped me to build a fintech startup, and in 2018, alongside my friend, I co-founded a P2P Lending in Jakarta and land a role as a CTO. I believe that Indonesia has so much opportunity for a Startup, with so much Small-Medium business, or even a micro business, it will drive a startup to deliver more value both for the business owner and the customer. In 2020, I founded a startup, and helps a young entrepreneur, especially for gen-z to develop their own business. One of the projects that I managed and oversee so profoundly is GarapIn, the first cloud factory in Indonesia, that connecting factories to customers directly. GarapIn has a unique manufacturing process management, this will help the customer process the order in a timely fashion. With the long journey that I've come and the experience that I've got, both in hard skills and soft skills, I'd like to see myself as a serial entrepreneur, And I realized that I'll love to combine both technical and business.
