About Iya Prytkova
My Ph.D. work on the role of ion channels in human neuronal physiology and the effects of alcohol has received support from the Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) Individual Predoctoral Fellowship, National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, and the Collaborative Study on the Genetics of Alcoholism (COGA). I have presented this research as a short talk at the Gordon Research Conference on Functional Brain Genomics of Human Brain Development and Disease 2023. My electrophysiology skills have also contributed to a number of collaborative projects, including characterization of human induced dopaminergic neurons and ion channel mutations.
