About Izabella Rapacz

I graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor's Degree in Sport and Recreation Management and a Minor in General Business Studies in May 2018. I was also a Division I full-scholarship volleyball student-athlete. I graduated from Glenbrook South High School in Glenview, Illinois, in 2014. Being a student-athlete has taught me very valuable lessons in life that I can also take into my professional career. Time management, self-motivation, discipline, and teamwork are some to name a few. Even though being a Division I student-athlete can be tough at times, I do believe it is setting me up for the path to success. Not only had I been taught lessons, but I have developed skills that can easily translate into the workplace. I have become a hard-working leader both on and off the court and that is one of the reasons why I was chosen as Captain. Working through hardships with 13 girls every year has already given be pre-disposed experience with communicating and solving important issues before I even graduate. My interests include working with kids, managing a department, coaching, being a part of controversial debates, starting projects, and making decisions. I have always liked being the leader of the group because I enjoyed responsibility and the ability to have control. After taking Gallup's StrengthsFinder Personality Test, my top 5 themes were: command, activator, achiever, competition, and significance.
