About Izzy Hood

Hi! I'm Izzy, a Technical Program Manager passionate about the intersection of technology, design, and business. I enjoy working on complex projects that create a positive impact on people. Currently, I'm a part of the Cloud + AI Regulatory Execution team at Microsoft where I lead initiatives to ensure compliance across Azure services with emerging global regulations. I work cross-functionally with engineers, business strategists, legal, and marketing to successfully define, execute, and document compliance objectives. Previously, I worked as a Technical Program Manager on the Cloud + AI Data Residency team at Microsoft where I drove key workstreams in engineering, documentation, and marketing to successfully launch the EU Data Boundary Wave 3. I also worked as Program Manager Intern at Microsoft on Azure Incubations in the Office of the CTO. Here, I completed extensive user and market research on multi-cloud scenarios, driving product decisions for Radius, a cloud application platform. In addition to my work in program management, I find joy in designing great and intuitive user experiences.
