About J. Michael Thomas

My responsibilities include employee emergency response, infrastructure protection, and business continuity but ultimately I problem solve. Experience with shrinking budgets, disruptive reform, and Homeland Security education make me unique among my peers. I identified future investments despite shrinking budgets and staff, implementing emergency mass notification capabilities within the organization. I led organizational change resulting in the new Treasury Headquarters Operations Center and elimination of inefficient processes. I’m looking for a federal position on a team that focuses on national infrastructure protection and continuity. As I gain experience in this position I will seek to transition into a leadership role within the organization.
