About Jaakko Hietarinta

I have 3.5 years of experience in strategy consulting at KPMG Finland with a focus on growth and deal strategy. I am currently working as a Senior Associate, primarily conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis and leading smaller project streams to meet client expectations. I have gained experience working across numerous industries, e.g, IM, TMT, professional services, forestry, construction and consumer goods. Prior to strategy consulting I worked for 10 years as a controller in manufacturing industry, responsible for e.g, accounts receivable and payable, cost accounting, financial analysis and monthly reporting. In addition to my business studies, I have deepened my understanding and analytical mindset through a master’s degree in political history, which I have found profoundly enriching. My key competences and experience include, e.g, Growth and deal strategy, Strategy execution and PMO, Commercial due diligence (CDD), Market study and analysis, Process and cost optimization, and Financial analysis and modelling.
