PMHNP, ANCC Board Certified Previous Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certified My approach to psychiatric medication management is to incorporate supportive psychotherapy, using a trauma- informed care framework. I strive to create a safe and collaborative environment, providing evidence based treatment options, and encourage patients to be active participants and self-advocate. In conjunction with FDA approved medication management, I incorporate a psychodynamic therapeutic approach, cognitive behavioral therapy, and will often include grounding techniques during patient appointments. I am a fierce ally for the LGBTQ+ community, and other areas of specialization are women’s mental health, anxiety disorders, ADHD, depressive and mood disorders, and PTSD. I see patients 16 and older, both in person and telehealth.
