About Jace Ruth

My name is Jace Ruth and I am a Computer Science major in the Raikes School of Computer Science and Management at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I am passionate about data science, software engineering, and intellectual property. I aspire to pursue a career or further education in these fields. I have gained valuable experience and skills through my involvement in various projects and internships. Currently, I am working as a Software Engineer through the Raikes School design studio at MICAH House, where I collaborate with a team to create a web application that helps the organization track and manage donations. Previously, I was a Web Developer Intern at Kiewit, where I helped automate oil rig fabrication processes and develop a web application for inventory management. I also co-founded Cattle Kettle, a startup that automates stock tank management for ranchers, and was responsible for marketing, customer discovery, and website creation. Before that, I worked at NextWorld and helped optimize app generation and user experience. Through these experiences, I have developed competencies in web engineering, software industry, and start-up leadership.
