About Jack Anderson

Hi there, For many years I trained as a chef, unfortunately I had to retire due to health reasons. Fortunately my time as a chef taught me some great skills to go forward in life with. I learnt organisational skills, efficiency, productivity & to think quickly to respond to constantly changing situations. It also taught me how to be a fast learner, and then pass on my knowledge to train others in a patient and positive way. After I retired I decided to go travelling and expand my knowledge of the world and fund other skills. Through this I discovered that I am very skilled in sales, I feel that all it takes is speaking to people in a friendly manner, knowing your product that you are selling, and being genuine in finding the right person that it would benefit. All of this has boosted my confidence tenfold and honed my attention to detail that many years as a chef had taught me. In between travelling I settled back in the United Kingdom to start up an online business. This was so I could build up some savings going forward, but I mainly wanted to try my hand at running my own business as it is a skill that I had yet to require. This helped further my time management and efficiency skills, along with the self motivation needed. I would purchase, refurbish, and then sell classic gaming products. I decided on this as it is has always been a passion of mine, and I felt that would shine through (and of course I had to test and play the games which was a plus!). Once I felt it had been successful and I had some savings from it, I sold all my products which allowed me to travel to New Zealand, a place that I fell in love with when I came on holiday when I was a teenager. Since then I have used my skills to find work and allow me to settle down. I apologise for such a long summary, but as I have had many jobs that need many different skills I felt I should talk about each one.
