About Jack Anderson

Hi, I am a first-generation college graduate student from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Digital Media Studies. Some skills that I have developed throughout my college career and my occupations are perseverance, flexibility, and dependability. Perseverance - my college career was like no one else’s with transferring colleges twice just to finally get to my dream school and then BOOM! Covid-19 struck, and we were dealt with online schooling. But this journey has taught me so much about myself and how I can persevere through any challenge that is given to me. Flexibility - A few words to describe my college courses "Group Projects" in just about every course I took at UW - La Crosse I was tasked with a group project whether it be a semester long or just a couple weeks. I had to learn to be flexible with not only my schedule and my skills, but I also had to consider my peer's schedules and the skills they had to offer. It was during many of these projects that I had to learn many new skills and build up my multi-tasking abilities to be able to compensate for my group projects and other coursework. Dependability - This is a skill that I have been able to develop over the years not solely in college but through my occupations. In college, I was always dependable for my group mates with any questions or problems with the assignments, but in my occupations, I was dependable in a way that I was reliable for them to come to me with questions or problems to solve. Within my many summers working at Mickman Brothers as an irrigation laborer I was granted more and more responsibilities that by the end of it if I wanted to, I could've made a career out of being an irrigation foreman.
