About Jack Bahou

I am a Chemical Engineering Master’s graduate from the University of Manchester with strong data, analytical, and project management skills. I thrive in fast-paced environments where I can deliver impactful, data-driven solutions. At Aether, I work as a Data Consultant, leading projects to modernise the UK national emissions inventory using Azure DevOps, Synapse, and Python. I’ve managed key initiatives for DEFRA and the European Topic Centre on Health and Environment, involving large-scale data processing in R, Excel, and GIS. I also lead the company’s AI development, driving safe and effective AI use across the business. Previously at Abbott Diabetes Care, I used SQL, Excel, and JMP to analyse manufacturing data and led validation projects that quadrupled production capacity. I managed teams, improved testing outcomes, and consistently met tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment. My academic work focused on renewable energy and heat storage, earning a first-class dissertation grade. This background, combined with hands-on experience, equips me to manage complex data projects and drive meaningful results.
