About Jack Bellingham
Engineer in the Water team at Arup, specialising in flood risk. I am particularly interested in Nature Based Solutions, and sustainable development, making use of the multiple benefits that can be provided through water and considerate design. I am working to better integrate innovation and BNG into FCERM projects, hoping to eventually see rewilding become more common in the UK and Europe. Outside of engineering I have a passion for mountains and the natural world. I am experienced in self-supported and wilderness travel, and have led extended backcountry expeditions and cycled solo across Southwest USA and Northeast Canada/USA. I grew up across Europe and the MENA region, and have worked in France, the USA and now the UK.
