I have been in this position as Case Care Coordinator since Sep 2012, when I transition from orders after returning from Afghanistan. I work with the 2/137th CAB’s RNCO, MRNCO and Commanders in the follow up care of their Soldiers that have reported injuries that need follow up care prior to their return to duty or to ensure that they are properly boarded, either thru the NDR-PEB or thru MEB. I also ensure that their records placed into the HRR system and indexed. During my Deployment I worked as the S-1 Human Resorces Specialist NCOIC for my Unit in Afghanistan. Prior to my deployment had worked as the PAD NCO, LOD, MEDPROS, DENCLASS, PHA clerk, whereas I controlled all the KSARNG medical & dental records. I checked them in to the database; scaned them into HRR, SOP IAW AR40-66, and AR 40-501. Ship what is required to MOB sites or states as needed. Perform duties as Medical Mission NCOIC or PAD NCOIC, check to make sure paperwork is completed prior and after mission is complete. Take service calls from States, Units, and SM who require copies of their records. Setup and tear down equipment for our PHA missions. In addition, anything else that is required. Travel to MOB-SRC sites to assist in medical support for the departing or returning units.
