About Jack Bodman
After school, my interest in human performance lead me to undertake a BSc in sport and exercise science at Leeds Beckett University. I became interested in physiology in particular and this interest directed me to apply for the Human and Applied Physiology MSc at Kings College London. Here, I undertook projects concerning aerospace physiology where I became fascinated with fast jet pilots and space travel. Now, I am at BAE systems, pursuing this interest in pilots; supporting research to better understand the workload and stressors that a pilot experiences in a jet. My interest has not only allowed me to focus on pilots, but also given me the opportunity to sit in a human centrifuge and be whirled around and experience high G force for myself.
